Lawyers for journalist David Rose claimed in court that being on Pakistan's red list had made gathering evidence difficult, and that additional time should be provided.

It should be mentioned that the Daily Mail has requested a fifth time from the court to provide evidence against Shahbaz Sharif.

It may be remembered that Shahbaz Sharif and his son-in-law Ali Imran Yousuf had filed a lawsuit against the newspaper over David Rose's severe charges.

According to a report in the British daily Daily Mail, Shahbaz Sharif and Ali Imran Yousuf allegedly embezzled British funds intended for Pakistan's needy.

In a preliminary hearing, however, Sir Matthew Nicklin, a British High Court judge, classified the piece as "very insulting."
